Award Descriptions:

Workplace Health Vanguard Award - Celebrates organizations that are leading the way in health and wellness initiatives among their staff. This workplace need not be a healthcare organization but it can be.

Clinical Excellence Award - Experienced clinical staff (5+ years) - Honors experienced, frontline, non-physician, clinical staff who demonstrate outstanding compassion and skill in patient care.

Rising Care Award - Emerging clinical staff (under 5 years) - Honors newer, frontline, non-physician, clinical staff who show all of the signs of a promising career, demonstrate outstanding compassion and skill in patient care.

Operations Excellence Award - Experienced non-clinical staff (5+ years) - Recognizes frontline, non-physician, non-clinical staff who play pivotal roles in supporting healthcare operations.

Rising Impact Award - Emerging non-clinical staff (under 5 years) - Recognizes frontline, non-physician, non-clinical staff just starting in their careers who play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare operations.

Heart of the Community Award - Acknowledges frontline community members whose efforts significantly contribute to the health and well-being of our community. This can be a volunteer or staff member of an area non-profit.

The ECMS Pinnacle Award - Our highest accolade, awarded to an ECMS member physician (practicing, retired, or in education) who has made a lasting impact on medicine in our community through excellence in medical practice, education, advocacy, or community health involvement. A true pinnacle of medical leadership.
