Go Seniors! Transportation Program

Empowering Elderly Care through Mobility

At the heart of the ECMS Foundation's mission lies a commitment to supporting underserved communities.
The Go Seniors! Transportation Program is designed specifically to ensure that our vulnerable elderly population has reliable access to healthcare services, thereby enabling physicians to more effectively care for a demographic with limited resources.

Program Overview

Funded through a generous grant from the Fellows Foundation, the Go Seniors! Transportation Program provides a vital link between elderly patients and the medical care they require.

Key Features:

  • Eligibility: Available to patients aged 60 and over.
  • Access: Patients can obtain e-vouchers through their physician’s office.
  • Cost: Absolutely FREE for eligible patients.
  • Voucher Value: Each voucher is valued at $20, covering transportation both to and from healthcare appointments.
  • Purpose: Vouchers can be used for travel related to healthcare needs within Pensacola, including doctor visits, pharmacy runs, and laboratory services.

This initiative not only facilitates consistent healthcare access for seniors but also supports physicians in delivering comprehensive care to an often underserved segment of our community. By removing transportation barriers, the Go Seniors! Transportation Program ensures that essential health services are within reach for our elderly population, promoting a healthier, more connected community.
